WELCOME TO B&P

Children's Art in Da Nang

A Community Space Where Children, Artists and Creativity Grow Together

Since 2018, B&P has connected children, artists and families through creativity, exhibitions and cultural exchange.

What is B&P?

B&P – short for Bông & Pancake, two cats living in the gallery – started as a small corner for art but over time has become a unique community space where children, young artists, and culture lovers meet, learn, and create beauty together.

Since 2018, B&P has developed into a rare model in Đà Nẵng: both a gallery supporting young artists and a space organizing art workshops for children. We believe every Vietnamese child deserves the opportunity to access art naturally, closely, and inspiringly.

Why Children Need Art Galleries

Art galleries are often designed for adults, yet children may benefit from them even more. When young visitors experience original artwork in a welcoming environment, they begin to observe, ask questions, imagine stories and connect ideas in ways that traditional classrooms cannot always provide. At B&P Art for Children, we believe that every exhibition is an invitation to explore, create and see the world with fresh eyes.

Observe More Carefully

Looking at original artwork encourages children to slow down, notice details and develop stronger observation skills.

Think Creatively

Every artwork offers new possibilities and inspires children to imagine, experiment and discover their own creative ideas.

Express Emotions

Art provides a safe language for children to communicate feelings that may be difficult to express with words.

Discover Different Cultures

Through artists and exhibitions from around the world, children gain a deeper appreciation of cultures, traditions and perspectives.

Build Confidence

Seeing their own artwork displayed helps children feel valued and encourages them to continue creating.

Inspire Lifelong Curiosity

Every gallery visit becomes an opportunity to ask questions, explore new ideas and develop a lifelong love of learning.

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience art—not only as a creator, but also as an observer, a thinker and an explorer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Planning your first visit? Here are some of the questions families ask most often before joining our workshops or visiting the gallery.

1. Is the Children's Gallery free to visit?

Yes. Visiting the Children's Gallery is completely free during our opening hours. We believe every child should have the opportunity to experience art in an inspiring and welcoming environment, regardless of their background.

2. What age is the gallery suitable for?

Our gallery is designed primarily for children aged 3–13 years old, but visitors of all ages are welcome. Parents, grandparents, teachers and friends are encouraged to explore the exhibitions together with young visitors.

3. Can children interact with the artworks?

Some exhibitions include interactive elements designed especially for children, while others are intended for observation only. Our goal is to help children learn how to appreciate art while also encouraging curiosity, creativity and respectful engagement with original artworks.

4. How often do exhibitions change?

We regularly introduce new exhibitions featuring children's artwork, local artists and international cultural exchange projects. New displays are added throughout the year, so every visit offers something different to discover.

5. Who creates the artworks on display?

Our exhibitions feature a combination of artwork created by children participating in our programs, local Vietnamese artists and international artists who collaborate with Vietnam Cultural Exchange. Each exhibition tells a unique story and encourages children to explore different artistic styles and cultures.

6. Can schools or groups arrange a visit?

Absolutely. We welcome school classes, educational organizations and community groups. Group visits can be arranged in advance and may include guided gallery tours, creative discussions or hands-on art activities depending on availability.

7. Do you offer art workshops after visiting the gallery?

Yes. In addition to exhibitions, we organize regular children's art workshops where young participants can experiment with different materials, learn new techniques and create their own artwork inspired by the gallery experience.

8. What makes B&P Art for Children different from a traditional art gallery?

Unlike traditional galleries, B&P Art for Children is designed specifically for young audiences. Our exhibitions encourage children not only to look at art but also to ask questions, imagine stories, express their ideas and discover different cultures through creativity. As a nonprofit initiative of Vietnam Cultural Exchange, our mission is to make art accessible to every child.

9. Can children exhibit their own artwork?

Yes. Throughout the year, selected workshops and community projects provide opportunities for children to display their artwork in our gallery. Exhibiting their creations helps build confidence and celebrates every child's unique creative journey.

10. How can families support the Children's Gallery?

Families can support our mission by participating in workshops, visiting Trà Nôm Tea House, making a donation, volunteering or sharing our programs with friends. Every contribution helps us continue providing free creative opportunities for children in our community.

We're always happy to help. Reach out to us anytime.
