About This Book
Children & Creativity brings together moments from workshops, exhibitions and community activities between 2018 and 2026.
The photographs show children exploring many forms of creative expression: drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, printmaking, storytelling, craft and experimentation with unexpected materials.
The book is organised around the creative process rather than around perfect results. It focuses on observation, curiosity, mistakes, discovery, collaboration and confidence.
Some children appear deeply focused. Others laugh, exchange ideas or proudly hold up what they have made. Together, these moments show that art education is not only about teaching children how to produce an image. It is about giving them space to think, feel, communicate and see possibilities.
